In welcoming the 4th stage of this championship, Nantes rivals with New York, Buenos Aires, Zurich, Rome…. Arnaud Gicquel from Nantes won the Worl Cup 2001.

2d year of the French Cup :
The best french skaters meet together in 7 events all around the french territory (Nice, Nantes, rennes, Annecy, Dijon, Trans Jurassienne, Les Herbiers).
World Cup - French Cup registration fees : 15 Euros
 included T-shirt, supplies, admission to Skate Park (Saturday open until 22h45 and sunday) and Pasta Party April,28th.

CHAMPIONS' SPEAKINGS
Since decades, the city of Nantes has seen the beginning of many champions and welcome them in the best way. I really appreciate that Nantes enables them to participate in a great roller skating festival and in the first round of the French Inline Cup the 27th of April.

  • 12h00 - Numbers delivery. Different colored numbers will make the distinction between Marathon and 25 km roller skaters.
  • 15h00 - International and national teams presentation
  • 16h00 - Marathon and 25 km roller skaters taking place
  • 16h15 - Open Nantes Atlantic Marathon (45 km) beginning
    2 starts : Women and Men, Elite classes placed below
  • 16h18 - Open Roller Skating 25 km beginning
    Only one start : Minimes and cadets classes placed below.
    These three groups will be placed in the arrival straight line before the first Marathon start. Each group will be liberated after the previous group start.

ORGANIZATION AND SECURITY

INTERNATIONAL MARATHON (45 km) Start at 16 h 15

  1. one organization vehicle will start 15 mn before race start to check taking place of signposting people (equiped with armband).
  2. 4 motorcyclists to open race (1 for each roller skaters group).
  3. Race director motorcycle will precede by 100m the pack or the leaders.
  4. Judges transportation will be provided with 4 motorcyclists.
  5. Judges in fixed post will insure event regularity.

OPEN ROLLER SKATING (25 km) Start at 16 h 18

  • Start will be donne 3mn after the marathon start.
  • Late open marathon roller skaters should get used lateral cycle tracks.

MEANS OF COMMUNICATION

  • L'ensemble des motards sera équipé en CB et pourra communiquer ensemble.
  • La direction de course sera joignable par téléphone portable et CB.
  • Les signaleurs à poste fixe seront équipés de téléphone portable.

STAFF

  • 4 opening motorcyclists.
  • 1 race director motorcyclist,
  • 2 judges transportation motorcyclists,
